Privacy & Confidentiality

All medical consultations and records are confidential.  It is the policy of this practice to maintain security of personal health information at all times and to ensure that this information is only available to authorised members of staff.

Workcover & Third Party

Our doctors will not see patients under Workcover due to the immense amount of paperwork involved. Likewise they will not accept patients whose fees are being paid by any third party, for example, insurance claims. They will not accept patients undertaking legal proceedings as they do not have time to complete legal letters and forms.

Fees & Charges

Toowoomba Pain Physicians is not a bulk billing practice and all consultations must be paid for at the time of seeing your doctor. We accept cash, EFTPOS or credit card – Mastercard or Visa.

Procedures: These will be quoted on a case by case basis before you are booked for any procedure. In most cases the procedure will be covered by private health insurance should you have it, but there are also hospital fees and anaesthetic fees.

All our procedures are done at St Andrew’s Hospital and we use anaesthetists from Downs Anaesthetic Practice.

Consultation fees will be advised when you book your first appointment.
